Dear employer,
Can I please respectfully ask you to reconsider this mandate?
Some people choose not to be vaccinated on religious grounds or other personal consideration, while others have already acquired natural immunity making subsequent inoculation unnecessary. No exemptions are available for these legitimate reasons, yet it doesn’t make them a greater risk to others.
I like to draw your attention to the following research:
The BMJ (Aug 2021) tell us: “Fully vaccinated people can carry as much delta virus as unvaccinated people, data indicate.” (https://www.bmj.com/content/374/bmj.n2074)
Public Health of England (Aug 2021) agrees: “whilst vaccination may reduce an individual’s overall risk of becoming infected, once they are infected there is limited difference in viral load (and Ct values) between those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated. Given they have similar Ct values, this suggests limited difference in infectiousness”. (technical briefing 20)
(With the same official UK data showing that viral loads in people who catch the Alpha variant or Delta variant are broadly similar.)
John Hopkins research also concludes: “fully vaccinated person who experiences a breakthrough infection can spread the virus just as much as an unvaccinated person”. (https://publichealth.jhu.edu/2021/new-data-on-covid-19-transmission-by-vaccinated-individuals)
And the CDC: “evidence suggests that fully vaccinated people who do become infected with the Delta variant can spread the virus to others”.(https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html)
This means vaccine mandates are unwarranted, and that unvaccinated individuals are not a disproportionate risk to others!
A report in Inflammopharmacology (July 2021) tells us that those who are not symptomatic pose little risk!:
“asymptomatic COVID-19-positive individuals are less contagious than individuals with severe infection, precisely because in asymptomatic individuals the immune system has an excellent response, immediately attacking the virus, slowing its replication and decreasing its potency and the likelihood of infecting other people”. This means that while this coercion may make some people feel more comfortable, there is no real benefit from this mandate. On the contrary, we may exclude some colleagues with strong morals and analytical intelligence from participating and in the process negatively impact organisational outcomes and innocent dependent families. In other words, we are likely to do real harm and unlikely to make any positive difference.
It must also not be undervalued that vaccinations are not without risk either, with more than 550 deaths already reported in Australia as a direct result of Covid vaccines. While the Sars-Cov-2 virus disproportionally affects those over 80 years and elderly with existing health comorbidities– the number of deaths attributed to this virus is significantly overstated. It is also well known that reported Covid-19 deaths include deaths of all causes. (eg CDC reports 95% of reported Covid deaths have an average of 4 other factors contributing!)
The reported number of serious side effects from the Covid jabs, including deaths, in official databases globally (US, UK, EU and AUS) are truly staggering and, while we may conveniently point to the TGA making claims of safety – the fact is that longitudinal data is not available and the technology has never been successfully applied before in humans. Its inventor Dr. Robert Malone is quite vocal about the dangers of using this technology in the middle of a pandemic.
In other words, we do not know what the long-term health impacts may be, causing some, rightfully, to think extra carefully about the actual risk on both sides of the ledger.
Sadly and importantly, in the above mentioned UK PHE technical data we also read that those who are fully vaccinated – when infected, may actually have worse outcomes!
It tells us that 2,960 out of 151,054 unvaccinated individuals were admitted to ECU, which is 1.96% compared to 1,355 out of 47,008 fully vaccinated individuals, being a higher rate at 2.88%.
With 402 deaths (or 0.86%) were recorded for fully vaccinated cases, compared with 253 deaths (or 0.17%) of unvaccinated.
Israel also reports that 85-95% of serious hospitalisations now occur from fully vaccinated people! This needs further looking into and be taken seriously.
I am sharing this, because a minority portion of our society take a more risk averse approach to the vaccine and this choice is deeply personal. Sadly some portions of society look to segregate and coerce them into a medical procedure they do not want, based on fear. This goes contrary to our values, anti-discrimination laws and international human rights.
